"HOT-SHOT DA"

State Prosecutors known as "Deputy DAs" are also subject to the rules of professional conduct even when their "client" is the "People" of the State who employs them.

There might be a time for example, when you are the "Victim" of a crime, and the thief was caught and your property was damaged, and  you'll get a notice from the District Attorney's office to come to court for a "Restitution hearing" before a Judge. . The  thief will be there and is up to the the "Deputy DA" prosecuting the case to make sure your rights as a victim are protected even when his primary duty is to the "People of your State" .

Nevertheless, if you feel that your Victim's rights were tossed out the window by the "Prosecutor"  who could care less if your recovered $3000 PLASMA TV no longer works because it was dropped when the cops caught the thief, and now this hot-shot "DA" is more concerned with a "plea deal" with the Thief's defense counsel, which may or may not include fair restitution for your loss, (because more likely than not, the thief is unemployed, a drug addict, and has no money whatsoever)

Often times the hot-shot DA may suggest your restitution to be some bogus "payment plan" just so that the thief can get "probation"  and part of the  "Plea Deal". Maybe your HOT-SHOT prosecutor only cares about "winning cases and may break a rule here or there just to win, and as a result, the criminal in your case is let loose because said HOT-SHOT DA screwed up.   If you feel that your Victims rights were undermined, or you were denied due process rights and full restitution value for your loss, or the criminal in your case was found not guilty or the case dismissed because the "DA" simply bodged the case, you can REPORT such HOT-SHOT DA to his superiors, AND to the BAR .
